Vehicle Technical Inspector (Automotive)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive inspections of Toyota, Lexus, and multi-brand vehicles to assess their overall condition. Collect vehicle keys and coordinate vehicle movement across inspection sites. Perform visual and functional inspections of mechanical, electrical, body, chassis, suspension, steering, braking, and safety systems. Use computerized diagnostic tools to identify faults and verify vehicle performance. Conduct road tests to assess engine, transmission, suspension, braking, steering, and overall drivability. Identify mechanical defects, accident damage, repainting, corrosion, and structural repairs. Capture clear photographic evidence of vehicle condition, defects, damages, and missing parts. Verify vehicle accident history using systems such as Metrash and other available platforms. Prepare accurate inspection reports with repair recommendations and estimated vehicle condition. Ensure inspection documentation is completed accurately and submitted within agreed timelines. Maintain compliance with company policies, manufacturer standards, and safety procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high inspection quality standards. Desired Candidate Profile Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical, electrical, and body systems. Ability to diagnose vehicle faults and assess repair requirements. Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic equipment. Knowledge of vehicle inspection standards and safety regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and report-writing skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple inspections efficiently.
