The Cyber Center Manager is responsible for monitoring the daily performance of the entire enterprise communications and information technology while ensuring that all performance metrics and service levels are met, or exceeded. Responsible for analyzing all current processes currently in place and making recommendations and adjustments that address all performance deficiencies/inefficiencies. This enterprise is responsible for providing network services to deployed military units. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing a team of technical professionals providing services under the ITSM/ITIL framework. Lead meetings with technical teammates and government stakeholders to address performance issues or plans for future process/network changes. Ability to operate in a fast moving environment that is dispersed over multiple countries. Will manage an interdisciplinary, globally dispersed team of 100+ Information Technology professionals responsible for monitoring the network operations enterprise performance, enabling service delivery that meets or exceeds established performance metrics and providing defensive computer operations dispersed across multiple countries in a warzone environment. Provide daily operational guidance, support, and management within the SWA Theater of Operations for respective site or operations including executive level briefings on operational and communication related considerations. Utilizes communication skills to direct all technical resources and report on the progress, issues, and problem areas, and write and review technical documents. Directs daily staff and task activities to meet client and corporate work objectives. Liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems. Reviews performance in all areas and makes recommendations for changes to the service delivery model. Performs other duties and assignments assigned. The work environment will be 95% indoors and 5% outdoors. The outdoor work environment may exceed temperatures 100 F. Candidate must be able to physically withstand extreme heat. Must be capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling items weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be capable of wearing Personal Protective Equipment (helmet and plated vest) which can weigh 25 to 40lbs, for extended periods of time. Desired Candidate Profile Requires an active Secret Clearance One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if a degree is required. Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience preferably in Computer Science or MIS, IS, Engineering or related field. This position requires candidates to adhere to DoD 8570.01M. All candidates are required to maintain at least one (1) baseline certification and one (1) computing environment (CE) certification. Baseline certifications cannot also be used as a Computing Environment (CE) certification. The authorized certifications for this job title are listed as follows: Baseline: ISC2: CCISO: Chief Information Security Officer, ISC2: CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional, ISC2: CISM: Certified Information Security Manager Proficiency in using a computer - desktop or laptop. Proficiency in using Microsoft productivity software. Proficiency in using Email client software. Ability to assess networking requirements and provide solutions. Ability to make accurate and independent decisions under pressure. Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment One year of related academic study above the high school level may be substituted for one year of experience up to a maximum of a 4-year bachelor's degree in a Software Engineering or Business Information Systems discipline for three years general experience. Experience with a customer service-oriented company. Ten (10) plus years of IT related technical and leadership experience. Demonstrated management experience with a team of 100 IT professionals. Possess three (3) years of demonstrated OCONUS experience. Technical experience in ITIL/ITSM service delivery. Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects across a large geographic area. Experience with performance metrics and ensuring service levels are met or exceeded. Analyzing all current processes currently in place and making recommendations and adjustments that address all performance deficiencies/inefficiencies. Providing network services to deployed military units. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing a team of technical professionals providing services under the ITSM/ITIL framework. Update proprietary applications regarding: Update section employee daily status, leave, sick, on site, etc. Verify and track accomplishment of section monthly or quarterly safety and compliance training Purge section employee expired certifications Verify section employee compliance training in Virtual Training Record Verify section vehicle logs are being kept accurately and uploaded Ensure section personnel are maintaining their 8570 / 8140 certifications Review weekly training compliance reports for accomplishment prior to suspense. Review and approve leave forms ensuring before approval all compliance training is current. Coordinate transportation and integration of new and returning employees. Document and promptly counsel poor performance and policy violations. Enforce all V2X, GO 1, and dress code policies. Provide annual employee appraisal feedback in a professional and constructive manner. Demonstrate V2X values Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, and Professionalism. Ensure the safety of personnel and monthly safety inspections are properly conducted. Communicate effectively up and down the chain of command. Manage work schedules.
