Develop and execute trading strategies for Diesel and Gasoline across EMEA and APAC covering physical trades and paper/derivative positions. Identify and capture arbitrage opportunities between regions, refineries, and storage/freight economics. Build, manage and grow a book of business with refiners, terminals, traders, and end-users in both developed and emerging markets. Manage price risk and hedge physical positions in line with company risk limits. Monitor and analyse global supply/demand fundamentals, freight rates, refinery run rates, geopolitical developments, and regulatory changes affecting Diesel and Gasoline markets. Negotiate and execute contracts with counterparties across regions for trade. Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth execution of trades (shipping, storage, financing, letters of credit, etc.). Manage relationships with brokers, counterparties, and market intelligence providers. Ensure all trading activity complies with internal risk management policies, credit limits, and regulatory requirements in each jurisdiction. Prepare regular market reports, P&L analysis, and position updates for senior management.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certification is a plus. Minimum 12 years of experience trading Diesel and/or Gasoline (or closely related refined products). Demonstrated experience operating in emerging markets (higher volatility, credit and logistics complexity). Strong track record of P&L generation and risk-adjusted trading performance. Deep understanding of physical oil markets, freight, storage economics, and hedging. Established network of counterparties, refiners, and brokers across APAC and EMEA. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, fundamentals, and geopolitical events. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills. Ability to work across time zones and travel as required across APAC and EMEA. High level of integrity and understanding of compliance, sanctions, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Employment Type Full-time
