Tender & Estimation Engineer

We're hiring a Tender & Estimation Engineer for a reputable design company located in New Cairo.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions based on architectural and interior design drawings
• Perform accurate Quantity Take-Offs (QTO)
• Prepare, review, and validate BOQs with specifications
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers, subcontractors, and specialists
• Conduct quotation comparisons and cost variance analysis
• Maintain updated knowledge of Egyptian market rates, materials, labor, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities
• Coordinate with Procurement, Technical Office, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Support cost control and budget tracking during project execution

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience specifically in interior design, finishing, or fit-out projects in Egypt
• Proven experience in Tender Preparation, Estimation, and BOQ Development
• Strong experience in Quantity Take-Off (QTO)
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian finishing market rates, suppliers, subcontractors, and materials
• Excellent ability to read architectural and interior design drawings
• Advanced Excel skills including formulas, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, and data analysis
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
• Comfortable with client-facing interactions and working under tight deadlines
• Preferred: Experience in luxury/premium residential projects, compounds, or villas
• Experience with high-end finishes and premium suppliers
• Design-build or integrated project delivery experience
• Knowledge of specifications, material standards, and quality control
• Exposure to procurement, cost control, value management, and budget forecasting
• Desired Candidate Profile 3-5 years of relevant experience specifically in interior design, finishing, or fit-out projects in Egypt
