Technical Support Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Laserfiche Administration: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Laserfiche workflows, repositories, and integrations. System Support: Provide technical support for archive and correspondence applications, ensuring high availability and performance. Database Management: Administer MS-SQL databases, including performance tuning, backup, and recovery. Server & Storage Management: Oversee server infrastructure and storage systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. Incident Resolution: Diagnose and resolve application, server, and database issues in collaboration with vendors and internal teams. Documentation: Maintain clear technical documentation, SOPs, and escalation procedures. User Training: Support end-users with training, guidance, and troubleshooting assistance. Compliance & Security: Ensure systems adhere to organizational policies, data protection standards, and IT governance frameworks. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience in Laserfiche system administration. Strong knowledge of Microsoft OS environments (Windows Server, Active Directory). Hands-on expertise with MS-SQL (queries, stored procedures, optimization). Experience in server and storage administration (SAN/NAS, virtualization, backup solutions). Familiarity with ITIL practices and enterprise support frameworks. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across ministries and vendors.
