Technical Authority Expert

Our client is one of the leading providers of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) service providers is currently looking for experienced Technical Authority Expert. L2 Operations Engineer to deliver the L2 Operation Support . Provides Level 2 operational coverage for nodes, ensuring stability, continuity, and service excellence. Monitor production systems, resolve incidents and problems, execute deployments/releases, perform data repairs and environment maintenance, and collaborate closely with the customer and, and business stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Operations Engineer Proactively monitor production (logs, alerts, system metrics) and take corrective actions to prevent or limit customer impact
• Triage and resolve order failures and incident tickets; provide quick fixes/workarounds; escalate recurring defects and follow through to closure
• Perform deep dive diagnostics and root cause analysis; clear stuck orders across nodes; reconcile data across multiple systems
• Execute data repair and bulk activities; extract business reports and support bill cycle activities
• Run targeted DB queries for troubleshooting and data validation; validate deployments and support rollback if required
• Provide WA (workaround) scripts and SOPs to L1 to improve first contact resolution
• Identify edge cases and product defects; contribute to continuous improvement of runbooks and operational tooling
• Release, deployment and environment management Prepare deployment packages and MOPs for each production release; plan, coordinate, and track release activities and risks
• Execute production deployments; implement and maintain automated build and deployment
• Manage environment configurations and modifications; maintain read only users and permissions; reclaim physical storage as needed
• Create/maintain deployment scripts and continuously improve automation coverage for repeatable, low risk releases

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelors degree in Telecommunication Engineering or Equivalent Telecom domain experience with order orchestration and revenue assurance data fixes. Minimum 8 to 10 Years of Experience with automated build/deploy pipelines (e.g., Rosetta or similar), and release coordination at scale. Scripting beyond shell (Python, Groovy) and familiarity with log analysis stacks. Exposure to MySQL/JDBC, Apache HttpClient, Rhino/JavaScript in JVM (as observed in the environment). ITIL foundation or higher certification.
