Technical Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade solutions in the UAE. The ideal candidate will leverage blockchain and AWS technologies to build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive technical strategy and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the technical architecture for blockchain and AWS-based solutions
• Translate business requirements into detailed architectural designs, diagrams, and specifications
• Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure proper implementation of architectural standards
• Conduct architecture reviews and enforce governance, security, and compliance policies
• Develop proof-of-concepts and pilot projects to evaluate new technologies and approaches
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering best practices
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance platform performance and scalability
• Liaise with stakeholders to present architectural roadmaps, trade-offs, and implementation plans
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery for mission-critical systems
• Drive continuous improvement by defining reusable frameworks, components, and patterns

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
• Certified Blockchain Architect or equivalent blockchain certifications
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code)
• Knowledge of UAE security and compliance frameworks (e.g., UAE Cloud First policy)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools
• Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline

Information Technology (IT) / Software Experience Required: 8+ years Desired Candidate Profile 8 10 years of experience in technical architecture or senior engineering roles. Proven experience designing and implementing blockchain solutions in enterprise environments. Expertise in AWS services including EC2, Lambda, VPC, IAM, RDS, and DynamoDB. Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful API design. Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or equivalent. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills. Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience working in the UAE or GCC region and familiarity with local regulations and standards.
