Tech Vertical Lead

We are launching a new tech-focused vertical within Tellzer and are looking for a Tech Vertical Lead to join us as a partner. This role is for builders & entrepreneurs, not employees. You will help define, launch, and scale the vertical from the ground up, shaping its strategy, offerings, delivery model, and long-term growth alongside the founding team. This is a profit-share and equity-based opportunity, with vesting tied to KPIs and impact. Role & Responsibilities As the Tech Vertical Lead, you will be responsible for owning and growing the tech arm of the business end to end. Strategy & Vertical Development Define the positioning and roadmap of the tech vertical Build the pricing model and service structure Identify high-impact offerings aligned with real market demand Shape scalability and long-term expansion plans Product & Service Ownership Lead the development of technical services and solutions (e.g. software development, SaaS builds, AI systems, automation, Apps) Ensure solutions are production-ready, scalable, and commercially viable Define architectures, standards, and best practices Lead technical decision-making across the vertical Commercial & Growth Collaboration Work closely with commercial and sales leadership to support & oversee the go-to-market strategy Translate technical capabilities into clear, sellable value propositions Support enterprise and strategic client conversations when needed Help structure retainers and long-term contracts Team & Delivery Leadership Build and lead the technical team and the sourcing process from (engineers, developers, specialists) Define hiring needs, roles, and team structure Ensure delivery quality, timelines, and accountability Set up internal processes, documentation, and workflows Partnership & Ecosystem Building Evaluate and establish technology partnerships, tools, and platforms Decide on build vs buy vs partner strategies Represent the tech vertical in strategic discussions and partnerships What We re Looking For Must-Have Bachelor degree in computer science or similar. Strong background in technology, software, and systems architecture Proven experience building and scaling technical products, platforms, or services Experience in SaaS, AI, automation, software development or cloud-native systems Exposure to agency, consulting, software companies or productized services models Strategic thinker with a builder s mindset Ability to balance technical depth with commercial thinking Leadership experience and clear leadership capability Comfortable operating with ambiguity and ownership Nice to Have Master s in computer science, MBA or similar.
