Systems Administrator – MS Technologies

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Develop, monitor, and maintain the infrastructure, platform, and applications Perform day-to-day system administration tasks Develop and maintain all Microsoft infrastructure technology to achieve a 24x7 uptime service Help tune performance and ensure infrastructure high availability to achieve optimum performance Carry out day-to-day system administration tasks, install, configure, and maintain services such as IIS, and MS-SQL for various projects and operational needs Develop and maintain monitoring and reporting tools for all infrastructure Review and analyze all error logs and collate logging information for reporting performance exceptions Monitor servers, assess system performance, and help provide capacity planning Perform ongoing administration and account maintenance of Office 365 tenants Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, and hotfixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks Help Plan, implement, and maintain high-security measures to ensure site integrity, authenticity, and protection Collaborate with team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes Help Provide inputs to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment Respond to customer service requests and provide production support (24 X 7) coverage to servers on an on-call rotation Desired Candidate Profile Good experience in Installing, configuring, and maintaining web services such as IIS Good experience in the DevOps life cycle Working knowledge in Installing, configuring, and maintaining databases such as MS-SQL Previous experience in IT operation processes (ITSM) Experience in data backup policy for large IT infrastructure Experience in monitoring policy and implementation for an IT infrastructure Experience in cloud hosting services such as AWS, Azure 3 – 5 years of experience with organizations which offer enterprise-level Webhosting and web-based solutions Advanced knowledge of the Windows operating system Good knowledge of database HA and security (Preferably MSSQL) Knowledge of HA solutions and Disaster recovery Broad knowledge of key end-user scenarios and technical architecture for Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint online, OneDrive, Teams, and other Office 365 products Ability to learn multiple technologies Ability to work independently without direct supervision in managing large and enterprise websites/portals/applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment and follow instructions from supervisors and senior colleagues Teamwork-oriented, self-motivated, and self-developing Passion for quality and solving problems in complex computing environments Ability to independently make decisions and solve problems Good Presentation and Client Engagement skills Azure/AWS knowledge Employment Type Full-time Company Industry ConsultingManagement ConsultingAdvisory Services Department / Functional Area IT Software Keywords Microsoftbased InfrastructureSystem AdministrationIISMSSQLOffice 365DevOpsITSMAWSAzureWindows Operating SystemDatabase HASecurityDisaster RecoveryMicrosoft 365Exchange OnlineSharePoint OnlineOneDriveTeamsAutomationMonitoring Get real-time job updates only on our App
