System Engineer-(L2)
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities The current onsite open position for System Engineer is responsible for managing, and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, virtualization platforms, operating systems, storage, backup, and cloud environments. The role ensures high availability, security compliance, and optimal performance of IT systems. Key Competencies should be as follows, Preferred work experience on Fednet cloud environment Infrastructure Management Any Cloud & Virtualization Security & Compliance Storage & Backup ITIL framework Monitoring and Alert handling Server Hardware Datacentre Operations Desired Candidate Profile Education and Technical Qualification, Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in IT- Preferred Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) VMware vSphere / ESXi Monitoring tools (Manage Engine.) Backup tools ITSM tools (Manage Engine, etc.) ITIL V4.0 or 3.0- Mandatory Mandatory Requirement Minimum of 5-8 years of hands-on experience managing and maintaining a large Enterprise organization, Hands on experience in datacenter migration Strong troubleshooting skills Analytical and problem-solving ability Documentation & reporting skills Ability to work in 24x7 shift (if required) Team collaboration & vendor coordination Install, configure, and maintain Windows & Linux servers Manage Unix / Windows server and Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO Administer virtualization platforms (VMware ) Monitor system performance and capacity planning Patch management and vulnerability remediation VM provisioning, scaling, and optimization Backup & disaster recovery configuration Antivirus / EDR deployment Manage access controls & privileged accounts Support ISO 27001 / IT security audits Log monitoring and incident response support Manage backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, etc.) Perform restoration testing DR drill execution L2 support for infrastructure incidents Root cause analysis (RCA) Participate in Major Incident Management (MIM) Work within ITIL framework Mandatory KPI’s Compliance and Vulnerability management Incident, Change, Problem Management Optimization, improvements Documentation Communication Systems and application availability Management (≥ 99.99%) Architecture compliance Delivery timelines Reduction in P1/P2 incidents Automation coverage percentage Capacity utilization efficiency Employment Type Full Time Company Industry IT - Hardware & Networking Department / Functional Area IT Software Keywords Cloud EngineerNetwork EngineerDevOps EngineerSystem AdministrationDisaster RecoveryTroubleshootingPerformance TuningSystem Administrator Get real-time job updates only on our App
