Structural Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Perform structural analysis and design for different types of buildings in accordance with international standards and codes using engineering programs and spreadsheets. Proficiency in ETAB, SAFE, and Staad is a must Experience in design of PT Slab is preferred Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM technology (Revit structure) Strong in the seismic and wind analysis for the mid to high-rise concrete buildings in compliance with American Code Adept knowledge in building regulations such as DBC21, ADIBC and equivalent Technical Report Writing and other relevant official correspondence with Client / Project Managers Experience in structural repair and strengthening is an advantage Performs, Tender document, BOQ and technical bid analyses. Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction related documents. Carry out site survey and prepare survey reports Good knowledge in Steel structure, precast, and post-tension would be an advantage Attend technical and progress meetings with other engineering departments, project managers, and site engineers. Experience with municipality rules and regulations. Desired Candidate Profile BSC degree in civil/structural engineering 5-7 years of UAE Experience Site experience is required Experience in Strengthening Design of Concrete and Steel Structure DM license for G+4 or higher UAE driving license Candidates must be locally available with some previous UAE Structural Engineer working experience with engineering consultancy company.
