Staff AI Researcher
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Join Lenovo's Group CTO KSA R&D Center as an AI Research Scientist, where you'll help shape the next generation of intelligent systems across robotics, autonomous platforms, smart environments, and industrial AI. In this role, you will research, develop, and deploy advanced AI solutions spanning computer vision, multimodal AI, agentic architectures, and Edge AI, transforming innovative ideas into scalable, real-world technologies that power the future of intelligent automation. What You Will Do Research, develop, and optimize AI, machine learning, computer vision, and agentic AI solutions for real-world applications. Design perception systems including object detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, pose estimation, and recognition. Build AI capabilities for robotics and autonomous systems, including localization, sensor fusion, navigation, prediction, and decision-making. Develop and integrate LLMs, VLMs, multimodal models, and AI agents to enable intelligent reasoning and human-machine interaction. Deploy and optimize AI models across edge and cloud environments, balancing performance, scalability, latency, and cost. Evaluate emerging AI technologies and foundation models, creating prototypes, benchmarks, and performance metrics. Collaborate with global research, engineering, and product teams to transform research into production-ready solutions, patents, and intellectual property. Desired Candidate Profile Who You Are Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. 3+ years of experience developing and deploying machine learning, computer vision, or agentic AI solutions from research through production. Strong expertise in computer vision techniques, including detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, and sensor fusion. Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, and modern AI/ML development frameworks. Experience working with LLMs, VLMs, multimodal AI, foundation models, and autonomous AI systems. Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in C++ and AI deployment on edge or cloud platforms.
