Software QA Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using bug-tracking tools. Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure product quality. Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger. Validate web, mobile, and enterprise applications across multiple platforms and browsers. Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on testability and quality risks. Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders. Support deployment validation and post-release testing activities. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. ✅ 3–4 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance. ✅ Strong understanding of: Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Defect Management Process ✅ Hands-on experience with: Manual Testing Functional & Regression Testing API Testing (Postman, Swagger) Database Testing (SQL Queries) Test Case Creation & Execution Bug Tracking Tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, etc.) ✅ Experience testing: Web Applications Mobile Applications (Android & iOS) REST APIs ✅ Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. ✅ Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. ✅ Excellent communication and documentation skills.
