About the Team: We are the CAPS team (CAPS for Compute Aggregation Processing and Storage), part of the EDM (Enterprise Data Management) domain in the Risk and Buy-Side group within the global development department. Our mission is to build and maintain a highly scalable RTETL framework for capital markets solutions (RTETL stands for Real-Time Extract Transform and Load). The RTETL is a flexible and extensible framework, with customizable connectors, capable of handling large volumes of data in real-time. Your Responsibilities: Build and maintain the RTETL framework: focus on developing and evolving the foundational building blocks on which the RTETL framework is built. Develop and enhance capital markets connectors by adding support for additional source and target systems, including the connection to various MX services and writing data to multiple DB vendors. Improve the RTETL framework s performance, scalability, fault tolerance, and observability. Participate in design discussions and drive the implementation of complex features. Maintain a continuous improvement mindset by continuously researching and experimenting with new technologies that enhance the capabilities of the framework. Desired Candidate Profile 3+ years of experience as a Java developer. Solid understanding of design patterns and distributed systems. Solid understanding of relational databases. Proficiency in Git and Maven. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach. Excellent written and oral communication. Fluent in English; French is a plus. Team spirit and collaboration. Nice to have skills: Familiarity with Apache Spark or other big-data frameworks. Experience with ETL frameworks such as Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, Databricks Experience in writing performance-sensitive Java code. Experience working with financial datasets, pricing models, or related analytical engines. Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
