Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to help us build and operate highly scalable, carrier-grade platforms deployed in demanding telecom and enterprise environments. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges, automating operations, improving reliability, and working at the intersection of networking, Linux, cloud-native technologies, and large-scale distributed systems. Candidates with experience from companies such as Huawei, Sandvine, Allot, Nokia, Ericsson, Cisco, Juniper, Procera, A10 Networks, or telecom operators are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly available production environments
• Develop and improve observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational workflows
• Manage Kubernetes-based platforms in production
• Improve system reliability, scalability, performance, and security
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible
• Optimize Linux-based systems for high-performance workloads
• Support CI/CD pipelines and release automation
• Troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, networking, applications, and distributed systems
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
• Define and track SLIs, SLOs, and reliability metrics
• Desired Candidate Profile 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Engineering
• Strong Linux administration background
• Production experience with Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, and infrastructure automation
• Experience with containerized environments and microservices
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or similar observability platforms
• Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, Routing and Switching, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, VPN technologies Experience operating large-scale production systems

Nice to Have

• Experience in telecom environments
• Experience with DPI platforms
• Experience with Sandvine, Allot, Procera, Cisco SCE, Huawei SmartCare, or similar solutions
• Knowledge of DPDK, high-performance packet processing, or network observability platforms
• Experience with OpenStack
• Knowledge of service provider networks
• Experience with distributed databases and message brokers
• Understanding of security and information security practices
