Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Title: Service Advisor Industry: Automotive / Car Care Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Languages Required: Conversational Arabic & English Availability: Immediate Joiner Preferred Job Overview We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Service Advisor to act as the primary liaison between our customers and repair technicians. The ideal candidate will possess deep automotive service knowledge, exceptional communication skills in both Arabic and English, and the ability to join our team immediately. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, recommending appropriate maintenance or repair services, creating accurate estimates, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Customer Interaction: Greet incoming customers, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and conduct preliminary inspections. Service Recommendation: Advise customers on required, routine, and preventive maintenance based on multi-point inspection reports. Cost & Time Estimation: Prepare detailed repair orders, calculate accurate cost estimates (parts and labor), and provide realistic completion timelines. Coordination & Workflow: Pass job cards to workshop supervisors/technicians, track job progress throughout the day, and inform customers of any status changes. Vehicle Handover: Conduct final walk-throughs with customers upon job completion, explain invoices clearly, and handle billing and collection. Record Management: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, vehicle histories, service logs, and warranty details in the system. Requirements & Qualifications Language: Ability to converse clearly in Arabic is required to communicate effectively with local customers, alongside professional proficiency in English. Experience: 2+ years of proven experience as a Service Advisor or Service Writer in the automotive or car care industry. Availability: Immediate availability to start work is strongly preferred. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive systems, routine maintenance tasks, and diagnostic procedures. Computer Skills: Proficient in automotive management software (DMS), Microsoft Office, and basic computerized invoicing. Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding negotiation, conflict-resolution, and customer relationship management skills. Desired Candidate Profile Industry Experience: Minimum 2 to 4 years of proven hands-on experience as a Service Advisor or Service Writer within a multi-brand automotive workshop, car care center, or dealership. Language Proficiency: Conversational Arabic and English. Ability to converse clearly in Arabic to communicate effectively with clients. Immediate Availability: Candidates currently residing in the UAE who are available to start immediately (visit visa, canceled visa, or serving short/no notice period) will be given top priority. Technical & Commercial Acumen: Solid technical understanding of automotive mechanics, routine servicing, diagnostic workflows, and spare parts pricing. Strong ability to explain complex repairs in accessible terms to non-technical clients. Software & Digital Skills: Practical experience using Automotive Dealer Management Systems (DMS), POS invoicing tools, and standard office applications (Microsoft Excel and Word).
