Senior Solutions Architect

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are looking for a talented and forward-thinking Solution Architect to lead the design and evolution of the architecture underpinning our SaaS and bespoke product portfolio. In this role, you will ensure that architectural decisions align with product strategy, business objectives, and user requirements, delivering scalable, resilient, and future-ready solutions. A strong background in Microservices Architecture is essential, along with the ability to create cloud-agnostic platforms that integrate seamlessly with internal and external systems. What You ll Do Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of modern microservices-based solutions that support scalability, flexibility, and independent deployment cycles Own the end-to-end solution architecture, ensuring products are highly configurable, scalable, and adaptable across cloud environments Produce and maintain High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation to support development and delivery teams Define deployment architectures that promote reliability, resilience, and operational efficiency Design integration frameworks covering APIs, microservices, event-driven services, and third-party platforms Establish architectural standards, technology stacks, and design patterns that support current and future product requirements Conduct architecture reviews and provide governance to ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and quality standards Design systems that are highly available, secure, and capable of supporting growing customer demand Champion cloud-agnostic principles by leveraging services and patterns that can operate across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments Embed security, compliance, and governance best practices into all architectural decisions Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering Teams, DevOps specialists, and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with strategic objectives Translate business needs and product vision into practical, scalable technical architectures Serve as a trusted technical advisor, promoting architectural best practices across internal teams and partner organisations Keep pace with emerging technologies, architectural approaches, cloud innovations, and SaaS industry trends Identify opportunities to optimise existing platforms, improve technical efficiency, and drive continuous architectural enhancement. What You ll Bring: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, or a related discipline. Minimum of 6 years experience in software architecture, solution design, or a similar senior technical role. Demonstrated success delivering solution architecture for SaaS platforms and cloud-agnostic applications. Strong expertise in designing distributed systems, scalable APIs, and enterprise-grade cloud solutions. Experience architecting multi-tenant SaaS products or large-scale enterprise applications. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Exposure to data architecture, AI/ML integration, monitoring, and observability platforms. Technical Expertise: Architecture & Design Deep understanding of microservices architecture, microfrontends, event-driven systems, and API-first design methodologies. Ability to create robust architectural frameworks that support business growth and evolving customer needs. Cloud Platforms Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP, with a focus on designing portable and cloud-neutral solutions. Scalability & Performance Proven ability to design highly scalable, resilient, distributed systems with strong performance characteristics. DevOps & Automation Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as-code practices. Security & Compliance Solid understanding of cloud security, access management, and compliance frameworks including GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO 27001. Programming & Framework Working knowledge of modern development technologies including React, Python, Go, and Node.js, with an appreciation of contemporary software development frameworks and practices.
