Senior Procurement Engineer

Prepare and maintain the Procurement Log, PR Log, LPO Log, and Subcontract Agreement Log.Prepare and implement the project procurement strategy in line with the project programme and budget. Manage end-to-end procurement activities for materials, services, and subcontract works. Source, prequalify, and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors. Issue RFQs/RFPs and review/analyze quotations. Prepare technical and commercial comparison reports and recommendations. Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions with suppliers and subcontractors. Achieve cost savings and competitive procurement in line with project budgets. Prepare and issue LPOs, purchase orders, and subcontract agreements and obtain required approvals. Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Commercial, QA/QC, Finance, and Site teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery. Monitor procurement progress and identify long-lead and critical materials. Prepare Budget vs. Actual procurement reports and monitor procurement commitments. Maintain complete and accurate procurement records and documentation. Prepare and monitor the daily activities and priorities of the procurement team. Ensure compliance with company procedures, project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable UAE/Abu Dhabi regulations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Abu Dhabi-based suppliers and subcontractors.

Desired Candidate Profile

Strong knowledge of construction materials and subcontract procurement. Excellent negotiation and commercial skills. Good knowledge of the Abu Dhabi construction market and local suppliers/subcontractors. Ability to manage multiple projects and procurement packages simultaneously. Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP/procurement systems. Experience with major building contractors in Abu Dhabi. Experience in procurement of civil, architecture, finishing, MEP, and specialist works. Experience with Oracle/ERP-based procurement systems or equivalent. UAE driving license is an advantage.
