Senior Full Stack Engineer (.Net)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities JD: We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team in Dubai and contribute to the design, development and evolution of scalable, secure and high-performance software solutions. The role is primarily focused on C#/.NET backend development, combined with strong full-stack capabilities and an interest in modern cloud-native technologies. The successful candidate will be expected to work with a high degree of technical autonomy, contribute to technical design decisions and bring a critical mindset to ensure that solutions are robust, scalable, maintainable and fit for purpose. The technology environment is also evolving, genuine appetite to learn and work with Java and Quarkus is an important part of the profile. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications, with a strong focus on backend development. Develop scalable and maintainable services using C# and .NET / .NET Core. Develop and integrate modern web front-end components. Design and implement REST APIs and microservices. Contribute to reactive and event-driven architectures. Implement asynchronous communication and Publish/Subscribe mechanisms, particularly using NATS. Develop solutions designed for horizontal scalability in cloud environments. Deploy and operate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions. Analyse technical alternatives and challenge proposed solutions when appropriate. Ensure appropriate data access and persistence strategies, with a strong understanding of ORM principles. Participate in code reviews and promote software engineering best practices. Work closely with QA, DevOps, Product and other engineering teams. Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices, tools and processes. Required Technical Skills: Backend Strong professional experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core. Strong experience in backend and API development. Solid understanding of REST, microservices and distributed systems. Good knowledge of software design principles and design patterns. Frontend Strong experience with modern web application development. Experience with a modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework such as Angular, React or Vue.js. Good understanding of frontend architecture and integration with backend services. Reactive & Event-Driven Programming Understanding of reactive programming and asynchronous processing. Experience with event-driven architectures and Publish/Subscribe patterns. Experience with NATS is highly desirable. Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies is a plus. Cloud & Kubernetes Good hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes. Experience with cloud-native application development. Understanding of horizontal scalability and distributed workloads. Experience with Docker and CI/CD environments. Understanding of cloud architecture principles. Data & ORM Strong understanding of Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) concepts. Experience with ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework. Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Understanding of database performance and data persistence strategies. Java experience is mandatory. Demonstrated appetite and ability to learn new technologies. Strong interest in developing expertise in Java / Quarkus and associated technologies. Previous exposure to Java, Quarkus, Spring or similar technologies is considered a plus.
