Senior Full Stack Engineer (Mobile & Web)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with 6+ years of proven expertise architecting and shipping production React Native applications, and hands-on command of the Expo ecosystem including EAS. This role is primarily mobile: you will own our iOS and Android apps end to end - architecture, performance, release management, and app store operations - while also contributing to our web frontend (Angular and/or React) as needed. You will be a key member of the engineering team, and mentoring engineers. Key Responsibilities Mobile Architect and build scalable, performant mobile applications using React Native and Expo, including apps with custom native modules or native code where required Own the full mobile release lifecycle: EAS builds, OTA updates, app store submission and compliance (App Store / Google Play), versioning strategy, and rollout/rollback processes Debug and resolve complex native-layer issues performance, memory, platform-specific bugs, native module bridging (Android/Java, iOS/Swift or Objective-C) Design mobile app architecture, navigation, and state management (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or similar) for scale and maintainability Set and enforce mobile engineering standards: testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds, code review practices Integrate analytics/observability tooling (Amplitude, Sentry, Google Analytics) into mobile apps to monitor app health and user behavior Mentor engineers on mobile architecture, native debugging, and release best practices Web Contribute to and maintain our web frontend using Angular and/or React.js, working from design specifications with reusable, well-architected components Support frontend performance efforts (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse) as needed Use Storybook to collaborate with design and product functions Cross-Platform / Shared Work closely with Product and Design teams to deliver the best end-user experience across mobile and web Collaborate with the Backend team on API design; evaluate and integrate third-party APIs and services Ensure high-quality unit/integration test coverage using appropriate mobile and web testing frameworks Participate in code reviews across the mobile and web codebases Contribute to agile processes and the technical roadmap for mobile and frontend services Stay current with emerging mobile and frontend technologies and recommend tooling/practice improvements Must Have 6+ years of mobile engineering experience, with 4+ years hands-on production React Native and Expo (including EAS for builds, OTA updates, and deployment) Demonstrated ownership of mobile app architecture, native module integration/bridging, and app store release management Strong understanding of mobile performance, navigation, and state management (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or similar) Working proficiency in at least one of Angular or React.js for web contributions Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern ES6+ features Experience with CI/CD tools and mobile testing frameworks Experience with Firebase, GraphQL, or REST APIs Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide developers Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Good to Have Previously worked in the fintech/proptech industry Deep experience in both Angular and React.js for web Prior native iOS or Android development experience (Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin/Java) predating React Native Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced product environment Experience with SSR, SPA implementation on the web side Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks Desired Candidate Profile 6+ years of mobile engineering experience, with 4+ years hands-on production React Native and Expo (including EAS for builds, OTA updates, and deployment) Demonstrated ownership of mobile app architecture, native module integration/bridging, and app store release management Strong understanding of mobile performance, navigation, and state management (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or similar) Working proficiency in at least one of Angular or React.js for web contributions Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern ES6+ features Experience with CI/CD tools and mobile testing frameworks Experience with Firebase, GraphQL, or REST APIs Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide developers Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Previously worked in the fintech/proptech industry Deep experience in both Angular and React.js for web Prior native iOS or Android development experience (Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin/Java) predating React Native Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced product environment Experience with SSR, SPA implementation on the web side Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks Company Industry BankingFinancial ServicesBroking Department / Functional Area IT Software Keywords Senior Full Stack Engineer (Mobile & Web) Get real-time job updates only on our App
