Senior Financial Analyst

Lead the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit and Loss (P&L) statements to support business performance reviews. Analyze financial results and variances against budgets and forecasts, providing clear explanations and recommendations to senior stakeholders. Design and manage comprehensive budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with organizational goals. Collaborate cross-functionally with department heads to gather financial inputs, challenge assumptions, and consolidate budget submissions. Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and scenario analysis. Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to optimize business outcomes. Prepare executive-level financial reports and presentations that communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner. Support internal and external audit processes by providing accurate financial data, documentation, and analysis as required. Technical Skills Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling capabilities. Proficiency in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) tools and ERP systems. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus. Strong command of P&L reporting, variance analysis, and budget consolidation processes. Ability to work with large datasets and translate raw data into meaningful financial narratives.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related finance function. Demonstrated expertise in P&L management, budgeting, and financial forecasting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and financial modeling. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is highly desirable. Experience working within a multinational or large-scale organization. Familiarity with ERP systems. Prior experience in a Senior Financial Analyst or FP&A role with exposure to strategic planning initiatives. Knowledge of IFRS or local Egyptian accounting standards.
