SENIOR ESTIMATION ENGINEER - INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Estimation Engineer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, quantity take-offs, and commercial proposals for civil, infrastructure, and building projects. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure competitive and technically compliant bids. Key Responsibilities Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and project overheads. Perform quantity take-offs from drawings, BIM models, and contract documents. Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Analyze project scope, risks, assumptions, and value engineering opportunities. Prepare technical and commercial bid proposals. Conduct rate analysis for standard and non-standard items. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, and project management teams. Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and technical discussions. Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company standards. Maintain estimation databases, cost records, and historical pricing information. Prepare management reports, bid summaries, and tender presentations. Support cost optimization initiatives and project budgeting activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 8–15 years of experience in estimation, tendering, and quantity surveying within the construction industry. Strong experience in building, infrastructure, industrial, and MEP-related projects. Proficiency in estimation software such as Candy CCS, CostX, PlanSwift, or similar tools. Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market pricing. Excellent analytical, commercial, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict tender deadlines. GCC/UAE experience mandatory. Employment Type Full-time
