Senior Engineer – HVAC Tendering & Estimation

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer – HVAC Tendering & Estimation to support the preparation of competitive tenders and cost estimates for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing tender documents, preparing accurate cost estimates, coordinating with MEP disciplines, and ensuring timely submission of technical and commercial proposals. Review tender documents, BOQs, drawings, specifications, and contract conditions. Prepare quantity take-offs and detailed HVAC cost estimates. Prepare technical and commercial proposals for tender submissions. Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and other MEP disciplines during the tendering process. Analyze project risks and identify value engineering opportunities. Participate in pre-bid meetings, technical clarifications, and site visits. Prepare bid analysis and cost comparison reports for management. Maintain cost databases, supplier pricing, and market information. Support project handover to the execution team after order finalization.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 10–12 years of experience in HVAC tendering and estimation for MEP projects. Middle East/GCC experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, quantity surveying, BOQs, and cost estimation. Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and GCC construction practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Office, and AutoCAD. Knowledge of Revit/BIM is an added advantage. Strong analytical, commercial, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet strict submission deadlines. Preferred Project
