Senior Developer - eTrading

We are seeking a Senior Electronic Trading Engineer to design and build low-latency, event-driven cross asset trading systems that integrate market data, pricing libraries, and execution venues, enabling real-time streaming, execution, and risk-aware trade processing. This is a front-office technology role, working closely with traders, quants, and platform teams. Desired Candidate Profile 7–12 years in capital markets technology Minimum 5+ years in electronic trading platform development Proven track record delivering latency-sensitive trading solutions Strong understanding of connectivity protocols, API and low-latency trading systems. Strong analytical and problem solving skills accompanied with excellent communication Strong analytical and problem-solving capability Ability to operate in high-pressure front-office environments Strong stakeholder management (Traders, Quants, Business) Ownership mindset with focus on performance and stability QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Core Technical Skills Strong programming expertise in C# , Python Deep understanding of: a. Multithreading, concurrency, and event-driven systems b. Low-latency system design and optimization Experience with: a. Messaging frameworks (e.g., Kafka, Solace, JMS) b. REST / WebSocket APIs for real-time streaming Strong Linux/Unix development environment experience Trading / Capital Markets Experience Strong knowledge of: o Electronic trading workflows (RFQ, streaming, execution) o Market microstructure across FX / Rates / Credit Experience building: o Front-office trading or pricing systems o Venue/exchange connectivity (FIX protocol preferred) Integration Expertise Proven experience integrating: o Market data feeds o Pricing libraries / quant models o Trade booking systems (e.g., Murex or similar platforms) Understanding of: o Trade lifecycle o STP and post-trade flows System Design & Performance Experience designing: o Distributed, scalable, low-latency architectures Knowledge of: o Data structures & algorithm optimization o High-throughput systems Preferred / Value-Add Skills Experience in: o Cross-asset trading platforms o Pricing frameworks (FX, Rates, Credit derivatives) Knowledge of: o Cloud-native deployment (AWS / Azure) o Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Exposure to: o Smart Order Routing / algorithmic execution Scripting languages: Python (for integration / tooling) Skills C# Python multithreading Powered by Talent Recruit Employment Type Full-time
