Senior Backend Developer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities About the Role We're looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain the services that power our platform. You'll work across our serverless AWS stack, own critical APIs, and help lead the migration of legacy systems onto a modern TypeScript/Node.js foundation. What You'll Do Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices Develop and operate serverless applications on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, SNS, ElastiCache) Model, query, and optimize data across both relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases Integrate and manage authentication and authorization using Auth0 Contribute to the migration of legacy services onto our modern stack Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews Collaborate with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable features Desired Candidate Profile Senior-level experience building and shipping production backend systems Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js Hands-on experience designing and consuming APIs Solid experience with the AWS ecosystem, particularly: AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, Amazon S3, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, Amazon ElastiCache Experience with both MySQL and MongoDB Experience implementing authentication with Auth0 Nice to Have Previous PHP experience, which will be valuable for legacy system migration work Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling Company Industry IT - Software Services Department / Functional Area IT Software Keywords Senior Backend Developer Get real-time job updates only on our App
