Senior Associate-Talent Management (1 - Year Contract)

Project Conception and Initiation Support the identification and development of strategic initiatives and enabling projects aligned with EGA and HC Function Strategy and Departmental priorities (Balanced Scorecard) to support the achievement of EGA's objectives and growth ambitions. • Project Definition and Planning Develop project charters and scope, outlining the work to be performed to determine budget, timeline, and required resources. Define project performance measures and baselines to enable effective monitoring against agreed criteria. Define project roles and responsibilities to streamline approvals and ensure efficient project management, including identifying key stakeholders such as the Project Sponsor, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Project Manager, and Project Team. • Project Delivery Execute assigned workstreams and tasks within the overall project plan, including the design, development, and implementation of key deliverables. Take ownership of the quality and timely delivery of project outputs, ensuring stakeholder engagement and resolving issues or identifying alternative solutions where required. Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive a results-oriented and collaborative approach to project delivery. Demonstrate a positive, learning-oriented mindset that supports continuous improvement and professional growth for self and others. • Project Performance and Control Monitor and report project status, progress, risks, and performance against the project plan to support informed decision-making and ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and within budget. • Project Close and Handover Communicate project changes using structured change management practices to ensure successful implementation and stakeholder adoption. Complete all required activities to ensure a smooth and effective handover of the project to the relevant operational team, where applicable. • Safety, Quality & Environment Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, quality, and environmental policies, procedures, and controls to promote employee safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental responsibility. Desired Candidate Profile • Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or an equivalent discipline. Postgraduate qualification is preferred. • Minimum Experience Minimum of 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience, including leadership experience. • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of the employee lifecycle, HR systems, and HR processes. Understanding of organisational effectiveness and organisational development concepts, including employee engagement, training needs analysis, and learning design and delivery. Knowledge of project management and change management methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Ability to plan and manage complex projects. Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including leading without direct authority. Demonstrated willingness to learn, adapt, and develop new skills. Agile and resilient, with the ability to respond effectively to changing project objectives, timelines, and team structures.
