Senior Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Analyze financial statements and project cost reports to assess financial performance. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management. Support project costing, budget control, and variance analysis for ongoing construction / manufacturing projects. Assist in the development of financial models to support investment decisions and tender evaluations. Collaborate with the project management and procurement teams to monitor budgets, cash flows, and billing cycles. Conduct financial due diligence and feasibility analysis for new developments or expansions. Evaluate subcontractor/supplier financial proposals and support tendering processes. Monitor compliance with local financial regulations and company policies (e.g., VAT, TAX & Corporate TAX). Provide support during audits and liaise with internal and external auditors. Assist in financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning. Collaborate with business Heads to gather data and understand operational drivers. Prepare executive-level presentations with clear financial narratives and recommendations. Assist in the development of KPIs and dashboards to monitor business performance. Partner with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and data integrity. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics; CFA/ACCA/CPA preferred Minimum 5–7 years of financial analysis experience in the UAE, preferably within Construction, Engineering, or Manufacturing Strong skills in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis & financial modeling Experience in project costing, cost control, cash flow analysis & financial reporting Proficient in Excel, Power BI & ERP systems Knowledge of UAE regulations (VAT, Corporate Tax, WPS) Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical, communication & stakeholder management skills Experience in tender evaluation, feasibility studies & financial due diligence Skilled in preparing reports, dashboards & management presentations Employment Type Full Time Company Industry ConstructionCivil Engineering Department / Functional Area FinanceTreasury Keywords Business PartneringBusiness AnalystSenior Financial AnalystStrategic Finance AnalystBudget AnalystFinancial ModelingProcess ImprovementForecastingData AnalysisCompliance ManagementKPI DevelopmentStrategic PlanningBudgeting Get real-time job updates only on our App
