Requirements- 1. Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), including welding current, voltage, wire feed speed, and travel speed. 2. Welding Position - operator has to know the welding positions 3. Blueprint Reads: Ability to read engineering prints and interpret welding symbols 4. Basic understanding of mechanical adjustments, torch alignments, and routine equipment maintenance 5. Safety and Material knowledge: Understanding of workplace safety standards (OSHA compliance) and handling Personal Protective Equipments (PPE)
