Baer is looking for SAP Travel Management Consultant for a 12 month Federal Remote Project.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant Travel Management to support a Federal Government SAP implementation. The consultant will configure, implement, and support SAP S/4HANA Travel Management while working with business and government stakeholders.

Description

Gather and analyze business requirements for travel management.

Configure SAP S/4HANA Travel Management for travel requests, expenses, reimbursements, per diem, mileage, and advances.

Support integration with SAP FI, CO, Funds Management, HCM, Payroll, and Workflow.

Prepare functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.

Support SIT, UAT, training, deployment, and production support.

Work with functional, technical, and business teams to deliver SAP solutions.

Conduct functional workshops and translate business needs into SAP solutions.

Requirements

8+ years of SAP functional consulting experience, including 5+ years of hands-on SAP Travel Management configuration and implementation experience.

Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Travel Management, including multiple full lifecycle implementations. SAP Concur experience alone is not sufficient.

Strong knowledge of SAP FI and Funds Management (FM) integration and related financial processes.

Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government clients, with knowledge of Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and government financial management preferred.

Experience with SAP Fiori, Workflow, BTP, and SAP Activate is preferred.

Familiarity with NIST 800-53 security requirements and ATO environments is a plus.

SAP S/4HANA or SAP Travel Management certification is preferred.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead functional workshops, translate business requirements into SAP solutions, and work effectively with technical and business teams.

Ability to work independently in a client-facing consulting environment.

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust or security clearance.
