SAP S/4HANA FICO Senior Consultant (CoE)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Provide functional support for SAP S/4HANA FICO, resolving incidents and service requests within SLA timelines. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities. Analyze business requirements and implement enhancements across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Controlling. Configure SAP FICO modules, prepare functional specifications, and collaborate with ABAP developers for custom developments. Ensure seamless integration between FICO and other SAP modules such as MM and SD. Perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot issues, and recommend process improvements. Execute unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and support change/release management activities. Maintain functional documentation, provide user training, and act as the FICO Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Center of Excellence (CoE). Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. 8+ years of SAP FICO experience, including at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation and Application Management Support (AMS). Strong expertise in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Margin Analysis (CO-PA). Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New Asset Accounting, and financial closing processes. Strong SAP FICO configuration skills and experience preparing functional specifications for ABAP developments (RICEFW). Knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP Tax configuration, tax engine integration (Vertex/Avalara/SAP Tax Service), and MM/SD integration. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. SAP S/4HANA Finance/FICO Certification is preferred. Experience in large-scale, multi-entity, multi-currency SAP environments is an advantage. Familiarity with ITIL, Agile methodologies, Central Finance, SAP Group Reporting, or SAP CAR is a plus.
