Safety Officer / Safety Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Ensure all site activities are carried out in compliance with the project HSE requirements, procedures, and applicable regulations. Monitor and supervise site personnel to ensure safe work practices are maintained at all times. Prepare and review risk assessments and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented. Issue and monitor daily Permit to Work (PTW) for site activities. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports. Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and internal training sessions for site personnel. Perform regular inspections of the worksite, equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure compliance with HSE standards. Coordinate with engineers and subcontractors to ensure all required third-party inspections, certifications, and mandatory training are completed on time. Prepare and maintain project HSE documentation, including: HSE Plan Emergency Response Plan (ERP) Waste Management Plan Environmental Management Plan (EMP) Other project-specific HSE documents as required Desired Candidate Profile NEBOSH Certificate (minimum requirement). 3–10 years of UAE construction experience, preferably in infrastructure, industrial plants, or substations. Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred. Good command of written and spoken English.
