Safety Officer / HSE Officer

Conduct fire risk assessments and regular HSE inspections across workshops, fleet facilities, industrial sites, and warehouses. Identify and mitigate risks associated with hot work, welding, cutting, laser operations, spray painting, flammable liquid storage, lithium-ion battery charging, and combustible materials. Monitor and ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems. Coordinate, supervise, and hold contractors accountable for fire safety system maintenance and corrective actions. Develop and implement fire safety procedures, emergency response plans, and evacuation drills. Conduct toolbox talks, fire safety training, and awareness sessions for operational and workshop employees. Investigate workplace incidents, fires, and near misses, including root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Coordinate UAE Civil Defence inspections, licensing, and compliance requirements. Maintain fire safety records, inspection reports, risk assessments, incident reports, and compliance documentation. Monitor HSE compliance and ensure timely closure of corrective and preventive actions across multiple sites and shifts.

Desired Candidate Profile

NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory. Recognised fire safety qualification is required. Proven practical experience in fire risk assessments, incident investigations, and fire safety system management. Experience dealing with UAE Civil Defence inspections and compliance. Fluent English is mandatory. Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, or Malayalam language skills are an advantage. Valid UAE driving licence is essential. Willingness to travel between operational sites and work across different shifts. Employment Type Full-time
