Senior Rust Developer

5 7+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years of hands-on Rust development.

Strong expertise in Rust programming, with hands-on experience in ownership and borrowing, lifetimes, traits and generics, memory management, error handling, async programming (Tokio), concurrency, multithreading, Cargo, and Rust testing frameworks.

Proven experience leading Java-to-Rust and C/C++-to-Rust modernization and migration initiatives for enterprise applications.

Strong hands-on coding experience in Rust, C/C++, and Python.

Familiarity with AI technologies, Python, and AI-assisted coding tools.

Experience designing and developing enterprise-grade, scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using Rust.

Expertise in building microservices, REST APIs, gRPC services, event-driven applications, and distributed systems.

Strong experience optimizing application performance, memory efficiency, system reliability, and low-latency services.

Hands-on experience integrating applications with cloud platforms, databases, messaging systems, and enterprise platforms.

Experience working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB.

Hands-on experience with messaging platforms including Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Azure Service Bus.

Experience with AWS and Azure, along with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and CI/CD automation.

Strong knowledge of Linux administration, Linux kernel concepts, and Shell scripting.

Experience collaborating with architects, product owners, DevOps teams, and global engineering teams in Agile environments.

Expertise in code reviews, architecture reviews, sprint planning, production support, and root cause analysis.

Strong understanding of security, observability, scalability, compliance, and engineering best practices.

Experience mentoring junior developers and providing technical leadership and knowledge transfer.

Exposure to Cloud Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Automation, Kubernetes Ecosystem, Edge Computing, Platform Services, AI Infrastructure, Cybersecurity Solutions, Storage Systems, and Networking Solutions.

Nice-to-have experience with WebAssembly (WASM), Blockchain Technologies, RISC-V Architecture, Embedded Systems Development, Open Source Contributions, and Observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
