Quantity Surveyor (QS) – Interior Fit-Out

Cost Estimation & Take-offs: Prepare accurate material and labor take-offs from architectural and MEP drawings for interior fit-out tenders and projects. BOQ & Bidding: Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), tender documentation, and cost comparisons for subcontractors and suppliers. Variations & Claims: Identify, price, and submit project variations, extension of time (EOT) claims, and client billing/payment applications in a timely manner. Subcontractor Management: Evaluate subcontractor quotations, prepare subcontract agreements, and measure/certify completed work for interim payment certificates. Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor project expenditures, prepare cost-value reconciliation (CVR) reports, and track project budgets against actual spending. Final Accounts: Prepare, negotiate, and finalize subcontractor and client final accounts.

Desired Candidate Profile

Nationality: Sri Lankan national (mandatory as per client preference).

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.

Experience

4 to 8 years of total experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically focusing on interior fit-out or finishing works in the UAE/GCC region.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel), AutoCAD, and relevant QS/estimation software
• Strong grasp of contractual conditions (FIDIC, etc.)
• Core Competencies: Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, negotiation skills, and ability to manage multiple fast-track projects simultaneously
• Driving License: A valid UAE driving license is an advantage.Nationality: Sri Lankan national (mandatory as per client preference)
