Quantity Surveyor (Joinery )

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor specialized in Joinery and Interior Fit-Out works to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for joinery and fit-out works. Review project drawings and specifications to identify materials, quantities, and cost implications. Prepare and submit tenders, quotations, and variation claims. Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate contracts. Monitor project costs and progress to ensure budget control. Prepare progress valuations, interim applications, and final accounts. Coordinate closely with the design, production, and project teams for cost and material control. Maintain accurate records and cost reports for ongoing projects. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in joinery, woodworking, interior fit-out, or architectural projects. Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) are mandatory, as the candidates will communicate regularly with our UAE office and international suppliers. Applicants must be residing in or near New Cairo (Fifth Settlement, Nasr City, Heliopolis, Madinaty, El Shorouk, Rehab, or nearby areas) to ensure a reasonable daily commute to the office. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Experience with ERP systems is an advantage. Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn and grow with the company.
