Quantity Surveyor
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Prepare quantity take-offs, measurements, valuations, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Prepare interim payment applications and internal valuations. Administer subcontractor accounts, including measurement and final settlements. Manage project variations, extension of time (EOT) applications, and claims. Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and commercial reconciliations. Review contracts and advise project teams on contractual matters and commercial risks. Negotiate commercial issues with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Monitor project budgets and resource forecasts in coordination with the operations team. Prepare and negotiate final accounts. Attend project meetings and provide commercial support throughout the project lifecycle. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of Quantity Surveying experience. UAE construction industry experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of cost estimation, BOQ preparation, contract administration, variations, and claims. Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and AutoCAD. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and coordination abilities.
