Quality Assurance Engineer

Design, write, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications across functional, regression, integration, and edge-case scenarios Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, severity classifications, and evidence and follow them through to resolution Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers from requirement review through to production release to catch issues early and shift quality left Build and maintain automated test suites that run reliably in CI/CD pipelines, reducing reliance on manual regression cycles Analyse test results and failure patterns to surface root causes, not just symptoms, and feed findings back into engineering decisions Define and track quality metrics defect escape rate, test coverage, regression pass rate and report them transparently to the team Continuously improve testing processes, tooling, and standards to keep pace with Mnzil's release velocity Desired Candidate Profile 3+ years of hands-on QA experience covering both manual and automated testing on web and/or mobile products Demonstrated ability to write and maintain automated tests using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or equivalent Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, API testing (REST), and how to integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines Experience writing clear, reproducible bug reports and working directly with engineers to drive defects to closure Ability to read and write basic code or scripts enough to build test automation and debug flaky tests independently Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent demonstrated capability through professional work
