QAQC Engineer
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC plans tailored to specific projects to ensure adherence to industry standards and client specifications. Conduct rigorous inspections and testing of materials, processes, and products at various stages of production to identify non-conformities. Collaborate closely with project teams to provide immediate feedback on quality issues and recommend corrective actions to enhance performance. Maintain detailed documentation of quality control processes, inspection results, and non-conformance reports to facilitate audits and compliance. Utilize advanced statistical techniques to analyze quality data and trends, making data-driven decisions to improve processes. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in quality assurance practices, applying innovative solutions to enhance QAQC processes. Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that quality objectives are met without compromising schedule or budget constraints. Lead root cause analysis for quality-related issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence and enhance overall quality performance. Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during site inspections and project reviews to ensure compliance with all applicable standards. Develop and implement detailed QAQC plans to align with project specifications and regulatory requirements, ensuring that quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct thorough inspections and audits of materials, processes, and finished products, identifying defects and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to provide actionable feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement in quality processes. Utilize statistical analysis and quality control tools to assess project performance and identify trends, facilitating data-driven decision-making. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of inspections, test results, and quality assurance processes to provide clear traceability and accountability. Train and mentor team members on quality control procedures and best practices, fostering a culture of quality awareness and responsibility. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus for more complex projects. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance and quality control within the construction, manufacturing, or engineering sectors. Certifications such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) are highly desirable to demonstrate a commitment to quality excellence. Strong understanding of industry-specific standards and regulations, particularly in sectors like construction, manufacturing, or aerospace. Proficiency in quality management software and tools, including statistical analysis software and project management systems. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey quality standards and collaborate with diverse teams. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Detail-oriented mindset with a strong analytical ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed, showcasing flexibility in adapting to various work environments. Bilingual proficiency in English and another relevant language is preferred to facilitate communication in diverse teams.
