Project Manager

Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project from commencement through completion and handover. Lead and manage the project team, including Construction Managers, Project Engineers, Site Engineers, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Commercial, and MEP teams. Develop and implement the overall project execution strategy, construction methodology, and delivery plan. Manage project scope, programme, cost, quality, resources, and contractual requirements. Ensure the project is delivered in accordance with the approved programme, budget, specifications, drawings, and quality standards. Coordinate closely with the Client, Consultant, Authorities, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments. Monitor project progress against the approved baseline programme and take corrective action where required. Review and approve project schedules, method statements, risk assessments, procurement plans, and construction programmes. Ensure timely resolution of technical, commercial, construction, and coordination issues. Monitor project financial performance, including cost control, variations, claims, cash flow, and profitability. Review and manage variations, EOT claims, contractual matters, and subcontractor issues in coordination with the commercial team. Ensure effective coordination between civil, architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist works. Ensure compliance with UAE authority requirements, project specifications, HSE standards, and applicable regulations. Lead regular progress meetings with the Client, Consultant, subcontractors, and project team. Establish and monitor project KPIs for programme, cost, quality, HSE, and productivity. Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation and contingency measures. Ensure proper procurement and timely availability of materials, manpower, equipment, and resources. Drive quality assurance and ensure all works are completed in accordance with approved QA/QC procedures and ITPs. Ensure effective implementation of health, safety, and environmental requirements throughout the project. Manage testing, commissioning, inspections, snagging, and project handover. Maintain proper project documentation, reports, records, and correspondence. Provide regular management reports and project status updates to senior management. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction. Lead the project team towards achieving successful completion, handover, and close-out within the agreed time and budget.

Qualifications

• Total experience of approximately 15 years in the construction industry
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience as a Project Manager
• Must have a clear career progression through: Site Engineer → Project Engineer → Construction Manager → Project Manager
• Mandatory experience in School Projects within the UAE. Must have successfully completed at least one School Project in the UAE with a project value exceeding AED 200 million
• Strong experience in managing large-scale construction projects, including planning, execution, coordination, cost, quality, HSE, and overall project delivery
• Must have proven experience managing consultants, subcontractors, clients, and project teams
• PMP certification is mandatory
• UAE construction experience is mandatory
• Candidate should have a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
