Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Lead and manage high-rise building projects from design stage through construction completion and handover. Act as the main point of contact between the client, consultant team, contractors, subcontractors, and authorities. Manage project execution in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, budget, and project schedule. Review and monitor contractor performance, ensuring compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations. Provide leadership and direction to site supervision teams, engineers, inspectors, and technical staff. Coordinate with design consultants, specialist consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project delivery. Review and approve technical submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and RFIs. Monitor construction progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain project milestones. Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings with contractors and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, including Dubai Municipality (DM), Abu Dhabi Municipality/DMT, Civil Defense, and other relevant authorities. Manage project risks, changes, variations, claims, and contractual issues in coordination with the commercial and contract teams. Review project schedules, progress reports, and performance indicators using project management tools such as Primavera P6. Ensure implementation of quality assurance and quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor health, safety, and environmental compliance and ensure contractors maintain safe working practices. Provide technical guidance on civil, structural, architectural, and coordination issues related to high-rise construction. Lead project meetings, prepare progress reports, and present project updates to clients and senior management. Support project closeout activities, including testing & commissioning coordination, snagging, documentation review, and final handover. Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to achieve successful project completion within time, cost, and quality objectives. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline. Minimum 15–25 years of overall experience in construction project management. Proven experience as a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager / Resident Engineer within an engineering consultancy, supervision consultancy, or PMC environment. Strong background in managing high-rise building projects including residential towers, commercial towers, hotels, and mixed-use developments. Extensive experience in UAE construction projects, preferably with exposure to Dubai Municipality (DM), Abu Dhabi Municipality/DMT, and local authority requirements. Strong knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP coordination for high-rise developments. Experience managing projects from design stage through construction, testing, commissioning, and final handover. Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, project controls, contract administration, and quality management. Familiarity with FIDIC contracts, variations, claims management, and dispute resolution processes. Proficient in project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and reporting systems. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders. Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills. Ability to review technical documents, drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and contractor submissions. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage project risks, delays, and technical challenges. Professional certifications such as PMP, RMP, or Chartered Engineer status will be an advantage. UAE driving license is preferred.
