Project Manager- Payments

Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of payment system projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business strategy and technical feasibility. Develop and manage detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies, specifically for payment gateway integrations and processing enhancements. Oversee the implementation of new payment technologies and features, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, PSDand industry best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline. Typically 7–10 years of project-management or project-delivery experience, including responsibility for complex cross-functional initiatives. Demonstrated experience across the full Project Development Life Cycle, from concept and business-case development through implementation and closure. Experience coordinating business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, security, finance, procurement, and external vendors. Experience preparing project plans, governance submissions, management reports, and executive-level presentations. Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams concurrently. Experience within banking, financial services, technology, consulting, or another regulated environment is preferred. Professional Certifications – Preferred PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project-management certification. Agile, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent delivery certification. Change-management certification would be advantageous. ITIL or related service-management knowledge would be beneficial. Project and programme management methodologies.
