Project Manager - Civil

Plan, manage, and execute building and infrastructure projects from mobilization to completion and handover. Take overall responsibility for project scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and resources. Monitor the master project programme, milestones, and critical activities. Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments. Manage construction activities for buildings, roads, drainage, utilities, infrastructure, and associated works. Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, contracts, and project requirements. Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project standards. Monitor project progress and identify delays, risks, constraints, and recovery requirements. Manage project budgets, cost control, variations, claims, and financial performance. Coordinate with Planning, QS/Commercial, QA/QC, HSE, Procurement, Engineering, and Construction teams. Review and approve subcontractor and supplier work programmes and monitor their performance. Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials, manpower, equipment, and resources. Lead regular progress meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams. Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports. Manage technical issues, RFIs, design changes, site instructions, and variations. Ensure proper implementation of QA/QC procedures, inspections, testing, and approvals. Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, environmental regulations, and applicable local authority standards. Monitor manpower productivity and optimize labour, plant, equipment, and site resources. Coordinate with authorities for required permits, inspections, approvals, and NOCs. Manage project risks and implement mitigation and contingency plans. Resolve site issues and coordinate with stakeholders to avoid disruption to project activities. Monitor subcontractor claims, payments, variations, and contractual obligations. Ensure proper documentation, as-built drawings, testing records, and handover documentation. Lead testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and project handover. Maintain strong client relationships and support business development through successful project delivery. Ensure the project is completed within approved time, budget, quality, and contractual requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management. 10–15 years of experience in building and infrastructure construction. Minimum 3 years’ experience in Project Manager role. Strong experience in infrastructure, utilities, and building projects. Experience in project planning, cost control, contracts, QA/QC, and HSE. UAE construction experience preferred. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is an advantage. Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, authority requirements, and contract management Employment Type Full-time
