Project Director

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking an accomplished Project Director to lead the successful delivery of a landmark super high-rise development in Dubai. Key Responsibilities Lead the project from inception to handover, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, quality, and schedule. Develop and execute project strategies, management plans, and KPIs aligned with business objectives. Oversee project planning, scheduling, procurement, commissioning, and resource allocation. Manage project budgets, cost control, financial reporting, contract administration, and change management. Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with quality, HSE, and regulatory standards. Lead multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to achieve project milestones. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and government authorities. Drive procurement strategies, vendor management, and contract negotiations to ensure timely project delivery. Champion a strong Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) culture and promote sustainable construction practices. Provide regular progress reports, executive updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred). 15–20 years of construction industry experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale high-rise or super high-rise developments. Proven experience delivering skyscrapers, mixed-use developments, or mega projects from inception to handover. Strong expertise in project planning, budgeting, contract administration, cost control, risk management, procurement, stakeholder management, and HSE compliance. Hands-on experience managing multi-million-dollar projects, leading multidisciplinary teams, and coordinating with consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities. Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore, and other project management tools. PMP certification is mandatory. LEED/BREEAM accreditation will be an added advantage. Previous experience in the UAE/GCC construction market is highly preferred. Candidates must currently be available in the UAE and able to attend a face-to-face interview.
