Procurement & Inventory Forecaster

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Forecast purchase requirements by analyzing sales data, stock movement, historical demand, and upcoming sales requirements. Prepare purchase orders based on shipment size, budget, stock requirement, and container planning, including LCL, 20HQ, 40HQ, and 40FT shipments. Ensure product availability at all times and avoid out-of-stock situations through proper stock planning and reorder monitoring. Regularly compare physical stock with system stock and coordinate with warehouse teams to resolve stock mismatches. Maintain a healthy stock turnover ratio by avoiding overstocking, dead stock, and slow-moving inventory buildup. Coordinate daily with local and international vendors for pricing, availability, order status, production timelines, and dispatch schedules. Verify supplier quotations, prices, quantities, product codes, and order confirmations before finalizing purchase orders. Coordinate with clearing agents, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and logistics partners for import shipments. Track shipment movement from supplier dispatch until warehouse receipt. Follow up for shipping documents including invoice, packing list, BL/AWB, COO, and other required import documents. Coordinate with accounts, warehouse, sales, and management for smooth purchase and import operations. Prepare regular reports on stock availability, pending orders, incoming shipments, slow-moving stock, and supplier performance. Maintain proper records of purchase orders, vendor communication, shipment documents, and pricing updates.
