Pre Sales Consultant - Open Source/Virtualization

Act as the technical advisor for Open Source and Virtualization solutions, supporting customer engagements from discovery through solution design and proposal stages. Collaborate with sales teams, technology vendors, and partners to develop scalable infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, and automation architectures. Deliver technical presentations, workshops, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and solution assessments that address customer business challenges. Partner with customers to understand current environments and recommend solutions that improve performance, scalability, security, and operational efficiency. Stay current with emerging technologies and market trends, helping shape go-to-market strategies and enabling internal teams on relevant solutions. Support business growth by influencing technical decisions, identifying opportunities, and contributing to successful customer outcomes and revenue objectives.

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven experience in a presales, solutions architect, systems engineer, or consulting role focused on virtualization, Linux, cloud, or open-source technologies. Strong knowledge of platforms such as Red Hat, Ubuntu, SUSE, OpenShift, Kubernetes, VMware, KVM, virtualization technologies, and cloud infrastructure solutions. Experience designing and presenting complex technical solutions while balancing customer requirements, business objectives, and technical feasibility. Demonstrated ability to manage technical projects independently, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across sales, engineering, and partner teams. Relevant certifications in Red Hat, Kubernetes, OpenShift, VMware, cloud platforms, or related technologies are highly valued.
