Power BI Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our remote team in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain interactive business intelligence solutions, enabling data-driven decision making across the organization. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into impactful dashboards and reports, ensuring high performance and data integrity.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards Create complex DAX measures and calculated columns to support analytical needs Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading Perform data modeling and ensure data quality and consistency Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business users Monitor and optimize report performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices Document solutions, maintain version control, and provide user training and support

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics) Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics Background in finance, ERP systems, or other industry domains Arabic language proficiency Position Details Position Title: Power BI Developer

Information Technology (IT) / Software Experience Required: 5+ years Desired Candidate Profile 5 10 years of hands-on experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role Expert proficiency in Power BI desktop, Power BI service, and Power BI mobile Strong command of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for building measures and calculations Advanced SQL skills for querying and transforming data from relational databases Proven experience designing and delivering interactive dashboards and reports Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and ETL processes Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities Fluent in English, both written and verbal
