What you will do as a German-speaking Operations Associate (Direct Hiring) Own end-to-end project management for global hiring operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency at every stage. Simplify complex operational or financial concepts into clear, actionable steps for clients and internal teams. Proactively manage client workflows with precision, from onboarding to payroll coordination, while maintaining a “helicopter view” of priorities. Adapt quickly to shifting regulations, client needs, or market dynamics in a fast-paced startup environment. Build trust through transparent communication, resolving escalations with empathy and professionalism. Collaborate cross-functionally to innovate and improve our operational framework. What we are looking for… 3–5 years of operations experience in HR, payroll, or global workforce management (startup/SaaS background is a plus). Proven ability to manage projects from A-to-Z, with strong follow-up and organizational skills. Calm under pressure: You adapt quickly, prioritize effectively, and thrive in ambiguity. A simplifier at heart: you translate complex processes or messages into clear, actionable steps. Startup DNA: Ownership mentality, rapid learning agility, and comfort with a wide-scope, ‘company-within-a-company’ role. Fluent English and German (written and spoken) is essential. Desirable (but not required): Familiarity with international labor laws or payroll systems. Experience scaling operations in hyper-growth environments.
