Job Overview
Walk-In Details Date: Saturday, 3RD October 2026 Time: 9:AM Venue: Hudaiba Awards Building, Block A, Al Mina Road, Jumeirah Address: 1st Floor, Al Hudaiba Awards Building, Block A, Al Mina Road, Jumeirah Manage quantity surveying and commercial activities throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans. Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and BIM models. Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements. Prepare tender packages and assist with the evaluation of contractor and subcontractor bids. Analyze quotations and prepare commercial comparison statements and recommendations. Administer contracts and ensure compliance with agreed commercial and contractual terms. Review and certify contractor and subcontractor interim payment applications. Measure completed works and verify quantities against approved drawings and site progress. Manage variations, change orders, claims, and extension-of-time-related commercial matters. Evaluate the financial impact of design changes and variations and maintain variation registers. Monitor project costs, commitments, forecasts, and expenditure against approved budgets. Prepare regular cost reports, cash-flow forecasts, and commercial performance reports. Identify potential cost overruns and commercial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures. Review subcontractor accounts, payment applications, and final account submissions. Lead negotiations with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants on commercial matters. Prepare, negotiate, and finalize final accounts and ensure timely commercial close-out. Maintain accurate records of contracts, measurements, valuations, variations, claims, and commercial correspondence. Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, finance, and contracts teams. Provide commercial advice to project management on cost, contractual, and procurement matters. Support value-engineering exercises to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or project requirements. Ensure compliance with company commercial procedures, project requirements, and applicable UAE regulations. Mentor and provide guidance to junior quantity surveyors and commercial team members.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline. 7–10 years relevant experience in quantity surveying and commercial management. Experience in fit-out factory/manufacturing facility or design-and-build contractor is an advantage. UAE/GCC fit-out experience mandatory. Employment Type Full-time
