Node.js Developer + Testing (Node.js - 80% & Testing - 20%)

Education

Degree or Postgraduate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience).

Experience

Coding experience in Node.js, JavaScript, and Databases. At least 1 year of hands-on experience in TypeScript. Hands-on experience in performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring.

Technical Skills

• Excellent knowledge of developing scalable and highly available RESTful APIs using Node.js technologies
• Practical experience with GraphQL. Well-versed with CI/CD principles and troubleshooting issues in distributed services
• Understanding of containerization with experience in Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to API gateway integrations such as 3Scale
• Understanding of Single Sign-On (SSO) or token-based authentication (REST, JWT, OAuth)
• Expert knowledge of task/message queues such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka
• Functional

Skills

• Experience in coding standards, security, unit testing, and documentation
• Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech experience is preferred
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Ensure quality of technical and application architecture and design
• Research and benchmark technologies against industry best practices
