Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to support enterprise firewall transformation projects, primarily migrating Check Point firewalls to Palo Alto Networks NGFWs.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with firewall migration, security policy management, network security, and troubleshooting. Experience with Blue Coat Security and enterprise security operations is also required.

The engineer will work with security, network, infrastructure, and business teams to plan, execute, and validate firewall migrations while maintaining security, performance, and availability.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support Check Point to Palo Alto NGFW migrations.

Review and convert existing firewall policies, NAT, VPN, and routing configurations to Palo Alto best practices.

Use Palo Alto Expedition for firewall policy and configuration migration.

Deploy and manage Palo Alto physical and virtual firewalls.

Strata Cloud Manager (SCM)

Perform firewall rule reviews, policy cleanup, and optimization.

Support migration planning, testing, cutover, and post-migration validation.

Use Blue Coat Security solutions for visibility, monitoring, threat detection, and incident response.

Troubleshoot network and security issues across multi-vendor environments.

Work with security operations teams to investigate and resolve security incidents.

Create migration runbooks, network diagrams, technical documentation, and operational procedures.

Participate in change management and maintenance activities.

Provide knowledge transfer and post-migration support. Required Qualifications

5+ years of Network Security Engineering experience.

Hands-on experience migrating Check Point to Palo Alto NGFWs.
